29. Trip to Bandarban 2N/2D by BUS (Ethnic diversity in the lush green hills )
The Chittagong Hill Tracts with their ethnic diversity and natural beauty have through the decades captured the imagination of tourists and travelers alike. Itinerary – 2 Nights / 2 Days
Leave Dhaka at around 11:15 pm by Saudia Paribahan a/c coach from Fakirapool bus stand for an overnight journey to Bandarban.
Upon arrival at Bandarban town early in the morning we will receive and transfer you to the Milonchori Hillside Resort, just 4 kilometers from Bandarban town. In the afternoon drive to Tiger Hill, a scenic view point from were you can see Bandarban town. The nearby Meghla Holiday Complex features a mini-safari-park, a zoo, and a hanging bridge. Continue to Balaghata, only a short distance from Bandarban town, to visit the largest Buddhist temple in Bangladesh named Jadi temple. Return to the resort for overnight stay.
On this day we will take you to Chimbuk, the highest peak in Bangladesh accessible by motorized vehicle. From this scenic point you have a stunning view over the flat floodplains of the Ganges Delta. After a visit to the nearby Murong village we’ll stop at Shoilopropat, a picturesque small waterfall. Before returning, a visit to the Bawm village in Faruk Para will be arranged. Drive back to the resort. After an early dinner at around 7.30 pm transfer to bus stop in Bandarban town for overnight bus to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka early next morning.
