Itinerary

Day 1:

Into the Mangroves

At 6:30 AM, our guide will receive you at Ghata No. 4 and take you aboard the ship. The ship will pass along Rupsha and Pasur rivers, along Khulna Shipyard, Rupsha Bridge, Rampal Thermal Power Plant, and by Mongla Port, heading towards Andharmanik.

After lunch, we will disembark and follow a designated foot trail, crossing freshwater ponds to enter the deep forest. On both sides, you will see dense mangroves with breathing roots, mostly Sundari, Golpata, and Gewa trees. You might spot deer tracks, and if you stay quiet, possibly deer themselves. Crabs will scuttle away from your steps.

After approximately 1 mile of trekking, we will rest at a wooden rest house over the pond, then return to the ship. Afternoon snacks will be served on board. The ship will then head towards Kotka Reserve near the sea.

Day 2:

Wildlife & Sea Adventure

Early in the morning, wake up for a canoe or boat ride through the canals and enjoy the peaceful forest atmosphere. From here, we will visit the Tiger Tree thickets, Jamtala Watch Tower, and proceed through the deep forest to Badamtala Sea Beach, about 2.5 km away, where you can enjoy the confluence of Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal.

Next, we will visit the Tiger Tila Office Area, crossing muddy paths, breathing roots, and dense forest, where you might spot deer along the way. Then we return to the ship for breakfast, after which the ship heads to Kochikhali.

At Kochikhali, we will walk through the dense, misty forest. Deer may look at you before running away, showing why this area is called the Tiger’s Dining Zone. Afterward, we will return to the ship and proceed to Dimer Char, a beautiful and serene sea beach, staying there until evening. The ship then moves towards Karamjal.

Day 3:

Crocodiles & Farewell Cruise

After breakfast, we visit Karamjal, home to Bangladesh’s only saltwater crocodile breeding center. Here you can see crocodiles of all sizes, nearly extinct turtles, monkeys, and deer, and even feed some of the animals. Later, we return to the ship and head back to Khulna or Mongla.
