Itinerary

Day 1:
Dhaka Arrival & Historical City Tour

Arrival at Dhaka International Airport. Meet and greet guests at the arrival terminal with a placard, followed by a traditional welcome with flowers and a welcome gift. Transfer to the hotel by tourist bus. After some rest, proceed to visit Dhakeswari Temple and Lalbagh Fort. Lunch will be arranged, and after lunch, visit Sadarghat and the Pink Palace (Ahsan Manzil).

Note: Lalbagh Fort is closed on Sundays and Mondays until 12:00 PM. Ahsan Manzil is closed on Thursdays and on public/government holidays.

Day 2:
Travel to Bogra & Explore Mahasthangarh Ruins

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bogra. En route, visit Hatikumrul Temple and have lunch at a highway restaurant. Upon arrival at Mahasthangarh, visit Mahasthangarh, Behular Basar Ghar (Gokulmedh), and the Citadel. In the late afternoon, return to Bogra and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bogra.

Day 3:
Ancient Buddhist Sites of Paharpur & Journey to Rajshahi

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Mahasthangarh Museum and Govinda Bhita. Afterwards, drive to Paharpur. Upon arrival, visit Somapura Mahavihara, the world’s largest single Buddhist monastery, built in the late 8th century AD, along with the site museum. Lunch will be arranged at a local family home.

In the afternoon, drive to Rajshahi and transfer to the hotel. After some rest, proceed to the Padma River to enjoy its scenic beauty. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi.

Day 4:
Rajshahi City Tour & Puthia Temple Complex Excursion

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to visit the Varendra Research Museum. Afterward, drive to the historic palace and temple town of Puthia to visit the Shiva Temple, Ananda Temple, Govinda Temple, and Jagannath Temple. Lunch will be arranged in Rajshahi.

After visiting Puthia, proceed to the Rajshahi Silk Mill Factory for shopping. In the late afternoon, return to Rajshahi and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi.

Note: The Varendra Research Museum’s opening hours are fully controlled by Rajshahi University and it remains closed on all public holidays.

Day 5:
Royal Heritage & Baul Traditions: Journey to Khulna

After breakfast, proceed to Khulna by road. En route, visit the Royal Palace in Natore. Continue the drive to visit the Shrine of Lalon Shah in Kushtia and enjoy traditional Lalon songs. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant.

In the late afternoon, arrive in Khulna and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Khulna.

Day 6:
Historic Bagerhat Mosques to Sundarbans Mangrove Forest Cruise

After breakfast, proceed to Bagerhat to visit the Sixty Dome Mosque (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Nine Dome Mosque, Thakur Pukur, and the Tomb of Saint Khan Jahan Ali. Visit the local colorful shops in Bagerhat.

Afterward, drive to Mongla and transfer to the boat for the Sundarbans mangrove forest cruise. The boat will begin its journey with the first destination at the Herbaria Mangrove Trail, followed by a visit to the Andermanik Mangrove Trail. The journey will then continue to the next destination, Kachikhali.

Overnight stay on the boat at the Kachikhali tourist spot.

Day 7:
Wildlife Safari & Mangrove Trek in the Sundarbans

Early in the morning, enjoy a canal cruise in Kachikhali on a small wooden boat, followed by trekking in the jungle. Return to the boat for breakfast, after which the boat will begin its journey to the next destination, Katka Tourist Spot.

Upon landing at Jamtola, take a 2.5 km walk to Kotka Sea Beach. In the Jamtola and Katka beach areas, you may observe wildlife such as wild pigs, spotted deer, honeycombs, water monitors, and various species of kingfishers. Return to the boat for fresh refreshments and lunch.

After some rest, visit the Kotka office area to enjoy more wildlife and the sunset. Return to the boat, which will then continue its journey to the Dhangmari Forest Office for the next stop.

Day 8:
Local Village Life, Forest Activities & Journey to Barishal

Early in the morning, visit the Dhangmari/Chandpai local village to see fishermen’s houses and learn about their livelihoods. After completing the forest activities, begin the return journey to Mongla.

After lunch on board the boat, transfer to the hotel in Barishal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Barishal.

Day 9:
Barishal Backwater Cruise & Floating Market Experience

Early in the morning at 6:00 AM, you will be picked up from your vessel and driven to Kuriana (approximately one hour). Upon arrival, embark on a traditional country motorboat with a local boatman for a backwater tour (canal cruise) through narrow canals and remote rural villages.

Shortly thereafter, reach a place called Baukathi, where you will observe the famous Floating Vegetable Market. At this market, local farmers sell freshly grown vegetables from traditional hand-rowed wooden boats to city vendors.

After visiting the floating market, continue the canal cruise through narrow waterways, enjoying panoramic views of authentic rural Bangladesh. En route, stop at the Kirtipasha Zamindar Bari premises and the timber market along the riverbank. You will also experience a local, homely restaurant at Kuriana Bazar.

In the evening, visit the Guthia Mosque and enjoy a city tour of Barishal. Dinner and overnight stay in Barishal.

Day 10:
Traditional Fishing with Trained Otters in Narail Village

After breakfast, proceed to a remote village in Narail District to explore the traditional lifestyle of local fishermen who use trained otters to assist them in fishing. This offers a unique experience of cooperation between humans and animals.

This century-old cultural practice is now preserved by only one or two families. It is important to note that no animal cruelty is involved; rather, the otters are cared for like pets, and both humans and animals support each other for survival.

Day 11:
Historic Mansions, Ancient Mosques & Folk Art: Journey to Chittagong

After breakfast, begin the day’s tour with a drive to Sonargaon (approximately 1.5 hours) to explore the first capital of Bengal. Experience the rich and authentic heritage of Bengal by visiting restored historic buildings such as Sardar Bari, along with the surrounding Folk Art and Craft Museum. Admire the terracotta decorations and wood-carving collections displayed in the architecture of old community buildings once owned by wealthy merchants.

Visit the Goaldi Mosque, one of the oldest single-dome mosques, built in the 16th century AD. En route, visit Comilla Shalban Bihar, Rupban Mura, and Itakhola Mura, followed by lunch at a local restaurant in Comilla.

After lunch, continue the drive to Chittagong. In the late evening, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Chittagong.

Day 12:
Historic Fish Market, Ethnological Museum & Scenic Karnafuli River Cruise

Early in the morning, proceed to visit the 400-year-old Fish Market in Chittagong. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then visit the Ethnological Museum and enjoy a short boat ride on the Karnafuli River, taking in the scenic beauty of Chittagong.

Afterward, drive to Bandarban by road. In the late evening, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bandarban.

Day 13:
Exploring Bandarban: Tribal Markets, Buddhist Temples & Nilachal Sunset

Early in the morning, visit a traditional tribal market (open on Sundays and Tuesdays). Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to visit Chimbuk and Shoila Propat. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit a Buddhist temple, followed by Nilachal, the most popular viewpoint in Bandarban, to enjoy the sunset. In the evening, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bandarban.

Day 14:
Spiritual Heritage and Coastal Charm: Cox’s Bazar Arrival

After breakfast, proceed to the world’s longest beach, Cox’s Bazar. En route, visit the Ramu Buddhist Temple and the 100-foot Buddha statue in Ramu. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant.

Continue to visit the Rakhine Buddhist Temple and the 2,300-year-old Rangkuṭ Buddhist Temple. In the evening, transfer to the hotel and explore the Burmese Market. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cox’s Bazar.

Day 15:
Moheshkhali Temples, Rakhine Village & Coastal Exploration

After breakfast, proceed to Moheshkhali by speedboat and visit Adinath Temple, Rakhine Buddhist Temple, and a Rakhine village. Return to Cox’s Bazar for lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, drive to Inani Beach, visiting Himchori en route, and enjoy the sunset at Inani Beach. After beach activities, return to Cox’s Bazar and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Cox’s Bazar.

Day 16:
Cox’s Bazar Beach Activities & Dhaka Handicraft Shopping

After breakfast, enjoy beach activities. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka. Upon arrival in Dhaka, visit Aarong for shopping at traditional handicraft stores. Return to the hotel to rest, followed by dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dhaka.

Day 17:
Departure from Dhaka – Onward Journey

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination.
