Itinerary
Arrival at Dhaka International Airport. Meet and greet at the arrival terminal, followed by transfer to the hotel by vehicle. Rest of the day free. If time permits, visit Dhakeswari Temple, Lalbagh Fort, Sadarghat and Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace).
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bogra. En route, visit Hatikumrul Temple and have lunch at a highway restaurant. Upon arrival, visit Mahasthangarh, Gokulmedh (Behular Basar Ghar) and the Citadel. In the late afternoon, return to Bogra. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Bogra.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mahasthangarh Museum and Govinda Bhita. Drive to Paharpur and visit Somapura Mahavihara and the site museum. Lunch will be arranged at a local family home. In the afternoon, drive to Rajshahi and transfer to the hotel. Later, visit the Padma River. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Varendra Research Museum. Drive to Puthia to visit the Shiva, Ananda, Govinda and Jagannath Temples. Lunch will be arranged in Rajshahi. After lunch, visit the Rajshahi Silk Mill Factory for shopping. In the late afternoon, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Rajshahi.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Khulna by road. En route, visit the Royal Palace at Natore and the Shrine of Lalon Shah in Kushtia. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. In the late afternoon, arrive in Khulna and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Khulna.
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bagerhat to visit the Sixty Dome Mosque (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Nine Dome Mosque, Thakur Pukur and the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali, with time to explore local shops. Proceed to Mongla and transfer to the boat for a Sundarbans mangrove forest cruise. Visit the Herbaria and Andermanik Mangrove Trails and continue to Kachikhali. Overnight stay on the boat at Kachikhali.
Early morning canal cruise and jungle walk at Kachikhali. Return to the boat for breakfast, then cruise to Katka. Walk from Jamtola to Katka Sea Beach with opportunities to observe wildlife. Return to the boat for refreshments and lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Katka office area to enjoy wildlife and sunset. Continue cruising to the Dhangmari Forest Office.
Early morning visit to the Dhangmari/Chandpai village to observe local fishermen’s lifestyle. After completing forest activities, cruise back to Mongla. After lunch on board, transfer to the hotel in Barishal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Barishal.
Early morning transfer to Kuriana and canal cruise by traditional motorboat through rural villages. Visit the Baukathi Floating Vegetable Market, followed by continued backwater cruising. En route, visit Kirtipasha Zamindar Bari and the riverside timber market, with a local lunch at Kuriana Bazar. In the evening, visit the Guthia Mosque and enjoy a city tour of Barishal. Dinner and overnight stay in Barishal.
